The title of this forthcoming edition of the Sitges Conference will be "Statistical Mechanics of Molecular Biophysics''.
We will organize specific sessions regarding the self-assembly in biological systems, protein aggregation and crystallization, protein folding and denaturation, reactions in biosystems with a few molecules, single molecule microfluidics, transport phenomena and molecular motors. With the organization of this Conference, we intend to stimulate a discussion between biologists and physicists about the cellular behavior to favor the interchange and cross-fertilization of ideas, and to deepen the understanding of the open questions in the field.
